‘SHE RIDES’ PROGRAM HELPS BAYSIDE WOMEN GET BACK ON THEIR BIKE
Cycling Australia’s ‘She Rides’ program gets rolling in Bayside and 40 other locations around Australia.
Cycling Australia’s new ‘She Rides’ program will help women in Bayside regain riding skills, improve their fitness and create a social network of friends in the local community. Following the success of the pilot programs in 2014, a national ‘She Rides’ program will be rolled out in Bayside and other locations in every state across the country in 2015.
The program, was created following findings from a Female Stakeholder Consultation by Cycling Australia that identified that most women would ride more if they felt safer, more confident in their abilities and had an organised group to join.
Listed as Bayside, although held in ELWOOD, there will be 2 SHE RIDES programs running.
Beginning on Tuesday March 17 for 8 consecutive Tuesdays 9.30am-11.30am and
beginning on Sunday March 15th for 8 consecutive Sundays (except Easter) 9.30am-11.30am
